About

After living in Merritt for almost two decades we (Will and Shauna) returned to Vancouver Island in the fall of 2012. While living in Duncan we kept their eyes open for a small semi-rural property. It took a while but in June of 2019 we fell in love with a half acre overlooking the Cowichan Estuary and Cowichan Bay. August 27, 2019 we moved to our new home.

The Village of Cowichan Bay was already one of our favourite haunts for great food and calm kayaking so it was a perfect fit for us. It is our intention to grow enough fruit and vegetable for our own needs and to share. One of the properties blessings has been abundant fruit and berries for canning and preserves.

Future plans include a roadside farm stand for produce and preserves.
